Overture is a desktop application that is deployed to your computer using Microsoft's ClickOnce technology. This downloads Overture from our secure servers and installs it directly on your computer. It will also take care of any prerequisites that you require to run it. Once the installation has completed, Overture will start automatically.

The first time you download you will be asked if you wish to install Overture:

You need to click Install to continue. You will then see a progress dialog while the files are downloaded from our servers and installed on your computer:

Overture will start automatically when the download is complete.

Updating Overture

Overture will ask you if you wish to update if it detects a new version when it starts up. If you agree to the update, the download and installation process is much the same as the above.

Troubleshooting

Overture is deployed using ClickOnce, which is usually simple and reliable. However, there are a few scenarios where problems can occur. If installation does fail, the following dialog is usually shown:
